🔗 Share this article BF6 Gamers Concur: Challenges Are Overly Demanding The launch of the much-awaited Battlefield 6 garnered broad praise, especially for its top-tier multiplayer mode. Exclusively on Steam, simultaneous player numbers surged to nearly 750,000. Yet, in spite of its success, an increasing amount of players are expressing frustration over a portion of the release's toughest challenges, which are required to obtain particular firearms. Gamers have begun resorting to personalized games made via the Portal feature to finish these tasks, underscoring just how demanding these assignments have become. Understanding BF6 Assignments Tasks represent Battlefield 6's ongoing multiplayer objectives, different from the regularly refreshed day-to-day and weekly tasks. The game includes four classes of assignments, but where most merely grant skins and a few gadgets, completing the weapon assignments is the exclusive means of getting 12 of the 41 primary weapons present in the game. Some of these locked weapons could shortly make their appearance on rankings for the top weapons in Battlefield 6. Player Outcry via Reddit Within Reddit, players are justifiably sharing their frustrations about how challenging and repetitive several of these challenges are. One user emphasized one of the most extreme examples, needed to obtain the KTS100 MK8 LMG: Neutralize 300 foes with LMGs Cause 10,000 non-ADS damage with LMGs "This task is so atrocious and completely out of mind, I want to tear my hair out," is a comment that illustrates just how annoyingly hard these tasks are. The suppression feature in the game is weaker than it's ever been in the series, so it has significantly fewer positive effects in fights as it did in previous games. It only tallies as suppression if you fire a burst without hitting the target. Additionally, using an LMG from the hip is highly imprecise and functions solely at very short distances, which isn't typically where you want to be. That player also pointed out the paradox in the SMG challenge, to unlock the SCW-10, which demands eliminations when scoped in, when that mission would be far more appropriate to hipfire kills, and vice versa. Another Extremely Difficult Mission One more community participant highlighted an additional excessively hard challenge, within the marksman rifle class to obtain the PSR: Achieve 150 headshot eliminations over 200m with sniper rifles This is difficult enough on its own, but there's another important point to consider: the majority of Battlefield 6 maps do not even allow combat at such a long range. There is a decent selection of map sizes, but because there are just nine maps in the game right now, it means you're limited to playing a specific urban map, Mirak Valley, and perhaps a classic map if you're lucky if you plan to engage from afar from beyond 200 meters. The Bypass There is a workaround though: Battlefield Portal. The Battlefield Portal is a feature that enables you to make custom game modes on whatever map you choose, featuring computer-controlled players. This allows you can cheese the system… but it isn't truly in line with the spirit of the game. But when tackling the tasks in a normal session seems counterproductive, since you are forced to participate in such an atypical style that doesn't benefit you or your team, who can fault a player for grinding them out in a private match so squad members are not disadvantaged? Upcoming Tweaks It should not be shocking if several of these tasks are toned down in the coming days or weeks, because should they remain unchanged, some players simply will never acquire the gated weapons. For now, the audience continues to voice their opinions on these demanding in-game tasks, expecting a more balanced overall gameplay in future updates.
